Update on the life of Jakub Wrobel
I just realized that I am leaving very soon.. and also feel like there is so much still left to be done. These next months are going to fly by, with Easter Break coming up and Eurotour soon after that. I think I am both excited and not to come home.. Excited to see my family, finally get to meet little Lilia again :), see how big Leo and Seba got, hang out with my mom before she has a heart attack.. (Zartuje :D), with my older siblings who I miss dearly, and have an amazing 2 month summer break before school starts in September. Right now, everything is going great in Germany. I am playing soccer every Tuesday and Thursday, immediately following Sprachkurs (Language courses) that I am still taking every Tuesday and Thursday in prep for Depaul. I am switching host families on April 1st, and will begin my third part of my exchange year. The time here has passed by so fast... I need to find a way to slow it all down! D: I had the opportunity to travel, via Deutscher Bahn, to Mannheim in south Germany (will do a different post about it soon including pics and all..). I routinely attend SV MEPPEN matches now, in Meppen, Emsland, about 20 km north of Lingen. Those are always a lot of fun, although they usually lose.. IT AIN'T NO THANG! That is all I can think about for right now, I never know what to write on here :/ I feel like it's always too little, or way too much. I'm gonna go outside and breath the German air, because I know I will not have the luxury of it in a couple of months. Now is the time to do things different, to go on bike rides, jump off a bridge and swim in a river (Im waiting on the right weather! :D and the people who have the guts! :D), and just enjoy myself. I don't think it's bad of me to say that I do. I think everyone deserves to be happy, and this exchange has made me a different person. A happier one. It taught me how to appreciate the little things in life, and I am continuing to enjoy every little thing.
